Reporting Settings:
To configure reporting, complete the following information then click the
iCOMPEL if you change the Reporting or SSH settings):
Reporting Check the button for the reporting option you want:
Status reporting is disabled – The iCOMPEL does not send reports.
Report status to a iDM via HTTP – The iCOMPEL sends report using HTTP or HTTPS.
Report status to a iDM via VPN – The iCOMPEL sends report using VPN.
Screen Check the box for the iCOMPEL to include a thumbnail of its current display in the report. This increases the
Thumbnails bandwidth required for each report.
Media Auditing Check the button for the media audit reporting option you want:
Do not send media audit logs to the iDM – The iCOMPEL does not send media audit reports.
Send media audit logs every – Specify how often you want the iCOMPEL to send media audit reports.
Send media audit logs every day at – Specify the time when you want the iCOMPEL to send media audit
reports only once a day.
Reporting Interval Specify how often you want the iCOMPEL to send a report. The minimum interval is 5 seconds.
Report to iDM via Select whether the iCOMPEL sends reports using HTTP or HTTPS. Enter the name or network address of the
HTTP iDM in the field (optionally with the required port number appended after a colon).
Report to iDM via Enter the name or network address of the iDM in the field (optionally with the required port number appended
VPN after a colon).
Check the Allow SSH access via VPN box to allow the iDM to connect to the iCOMPEL over SSH.
Authentication Enter the username and password for the reporter account on the iDM.
Proxy Check the Use proxy if configured box if the iCOMPEL has to send reports through a proxy. You must have
already configured the proxy (see
Remote Setup Settings:
To configure remote setup, complete the following information then click the
iCOMPEL:
Remote Setup Check the Enable remote setup for this player box to allow the iCOMPEL to report its setup to and receive
setup updates from the iDM.
Categories Check the boxes for the categories of setup you want the iCOMPEL to report or donate and for which it will
accept updates.
Note: You cannot select the Channel category when the iCOMPEL is a publisher.
