Log into the P-2612HNU-Fx via Web GUI. Set up your PC/NB IP address to be a DHCP client. Connect to a LAN port of P-2612HNU-Fx via RJ45 Ethernet cable and open your Web browser. The default IP of P-2612HNU-Fx is 192.168.1.1 Username/password = admin/1234 or user/1234.
In the ADSL WAN mode, we will set up 2 WAN interfaces for Data/IPTV, and VoIP services. Based on the current implementation, the IPTV service will go through the Data WAN interface in routing mode. FTP server installed behind the CPE with an IP assigned by the local DHCP server (192.168.1.33). How should we configure the P-2612HNU-Fx, so that the notebook at the WAN site can access the FTP server? The following step-by-step guide illustrates the setup.
With the account information supplied by your ITSP provider at hand you may start the setup procedure. Go to VoIP>SIP, click on “SIP Service Provider” and enter the SIP server IP address supplied by your SIP service provider. Leave the Advanced setting unchanged. Why do I need to use P-2612HNU-Fx? You need an ADSL modem/router to use with ADSL line, P-2612HNU-Fx is an ideal device for such application. The device has 4 Ethernet ports (LAN ports) and one ADSL WAN port. You should connect the computer to the LAN port and connect the ADSL line to the WAN port.
