Adjusting the phase

What can be done?
The timing of the Smearing reduction in relation to the vertical refresh rate of the displayed image can be set by changing the phase.
Bad alignment of the phase leads to motion artefacts such as a doubled image or worse smearing appearance.
How to adjust the Smearing reduction phase?
1. Press MENU to activate the Tool bar
2. Press → to select the Display setup item
3. Press ↓ to Pull down the Display setup menu
4. Use ↑ or ↓ to select Smearing reduction
5. Press → to select the Smearing reduction item
6. Use ↓ to select Phase...
7. Press ENTER

Tip: Smearing reduction must be enabled to make this selection possible.

8. Use the arrow keys, the numeric keys on the remote, or the keypad to change the Smearing reduction phase
Tip: A correct setting is the value where no double image and no or minimal smearing is visible on an image with fast moving
objects.
