Problem solving guide
The compressor is switching on too frequently and for too long,
so the temperature in the appliance is dropping.
Problem
The compressor
switches on too
frequently and for
longer.
50
Possible cause
The ventilation gaps in the
housing unit are covered or
dusty.
The door has been opened
too frequently, or a large
amount of food has just
been put in at once.
The ambient temperature is
too high.
The higher the ambient
temperature, the longer the
compressor will run for.
The appliance is not
correctly installed in its
housing unit.
Remedy
^ Uncover the ventilation
gaps.
^ Dust the ventilation gaps
regularly.
^ Only open the door when
you need to and then only
for as long as necessary.
The appliance will regain the
required temperature after a
short while.
^ See "Installation -
Location" for more
information.

appliance".
