Before cleaning

^ Switch off the appliance.
The display will go out and the
cooling system will switch off.
If this does not happen the safety
lock is active (see "Selecting further
settings - Activating or deactivating
the lock").
^ Disconnect the appliance from the
mains electricity supply.
^ Take any food out of the appliance
and store it in a cool place.
^ Remove the shelves and bottle shelf
from the door.
^ Remove the compartments and the
compartment lid from the
PerfectFresh zone (see "Adjusting the
interior fittings - PerfectFresh zone
compartments")
^ Take the glass plate out of the
dividing plate.
^ Take out all other removable parts for
cleaning.
Cleaning and care
Adjustable shelves / Adjustable
shelves with LED lighting
The stainless steel trim with LED
lighting or the stainless steel trim on
the adjustable shelves is not
suitable for cleaning in a
dishwasher.
The stainless steel trim with LED
lighting must not be placed in water
when cleaning it.
To remove the stainless steel trim with
LED lighting or the stainless steel trim
and the rear protective strips, proceed
as follows:
^ Place the shelf with the top facing
downwards on a worktop covered
with a soft material (e.g. a tea towel).

Important. Ensure that you loosen
the side on which the contacts
(metal discs) are not located first.
