Ethernet Driver Installation
Windows 9x/ME
1. Insert the PCM-6892 CD Diskette into the CD ROM Drive.
2. From Start, select the Settings, then click on the Control Panel
icon.
3. Double click on the System icon.
4. In the Device Manager tab, remove two PCI Ethernet Controller
items marked with ?
5. Click on the Refresh button and Add New Hardware Wizard will
appear. Click on the Next button.
6. Select Search for the best driver for your device.(Recommended)
and click on the Next button.
7. Select Specify a location and key in the path: cd-rom:
Driver\Ethernet\Windows 98. Then click on the Next button.
"cd-rom" : the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive
Notice:We take the Ethernet installation under Windows 98 for
example here, please select the corresponding folder depending on
your OS.
8. The Wizard shows that Windows driver file search for the device:
Realtek RTL8139/810X Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC. Click on
the Next button.
9. The system will ask you to insert Windows 98 CD Diskette. Click
on the OK button to insert Diskette and key in path.
Notice:We take the Ethernet installation under Windows 98 for
example here, please insert the corresponding CD Diskette
depending on your OS.
10. Click on the OK button.
11. Click on the Finish button.
