Fuel Gauge
The Fuel Gauge indicates the amount of fuel remaining in
the fuel tank.
This gauge indicates the approximate quantity of fuel remain-
ing in the tank when the ignition is in the "ON" position.
NOTICE: DO NOT run the tank to empty. To prevent con-
densation from forming in the tank, it is recommended
that the tank be filled when the gauge indicates 1/4 tank
of fuel remaining.
The following conditions may be considered normal operation
of the fuel gauge and fuel system:
- Gas station pumps may shut off before the fuel gauge
indicates FULL.
- The amount of fuel required for fill-up may not exactly
correspond to the gauge.
- The gauge needle may not move away from FULL until
some time after fill-up.
- The gauge needle may move around when boat is in
motion.
NOTICE: Become familiar with engine hourly fuel con-
sumption at various speeds and know when to check the
fuel gauge.
