Replace Camshaft Bearing
1. Using Camshaft Bearing Puller #19421,
remove camshaft bearing (Figure 6).

install camshaft bearing (Figure 7).

Replace Camshaft Plug
1. Remove rear camshaft plug (Figure 8).
NOTICE: Use a wood dowel or brass rod to prevent
damage to the camshaft bearing.

2. Using Camshaft Bearing Driver #19422,
install new camshaft plug flush with cylinder
block (Figure 9).

NOTE: If cylinder block is being resized, the
following parts should be removed so that the
cylinder block can be thoroughly cleaned.
3. Remove oil pressure switch (A, Figure 10),
water gallery plug (B), and oil filter adapter
(C).
