REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF THE
BLADE
Refer to Figure 7 and 8
WARNING
Turn the switch in OFF position and disconnect the
machine from power source.
NOTE: Pay attention to pieces removed, noting their
position and direction they face.
Lock the slide mechanism.
Lock the cutting head in its highest position.
Raise the blade guard to the up position.
Engage the arbor lock button located on the rear of the
motor and keep it depressed.
Loosen the fix screw and remove it.
Remove the outer flange, the old saw blade, the adapter
and the inner flange.
Clean the flanges and the adapter.
Place the inner flange and adapter onto the saw blade
shaft.
Place the new saw blade with the teeth pointing in the
direction of rotation.
Place the outer flange on the saw blade shaft.
Engage the lock knob, mount the fixing screw and
tighten it.
Lower the blade guard.
WARNING
Do not use saw blades made of HSS steel.
Make sure the blade arbor diameter match arbor size.
After installation of new blade, lower the blade into the
table slot and check for any contact with the base or turn
table structure. If blade contacts table, seek authorized
service.

MITER SCALE

The miter scale assists the user in setting the desired
miter angles from 45° left to 45° right. The miter saw table
has nine of the most common angle settings with positive
stops at 0 °, 15 °, 22.5 °, 30 ° and 45 °. These positive
stops position the blade at the desired angle quickly and
accurately.
Unscrew the miter clamp knob.
Use miter handle to rotate table to the desired angle.
Tighten the miter clamp knob to lock the angle.
