14 Controlling the rest of your system

Controls for other components

This remote control can control these components after
entering the proper codes or teaching the receiver the
commands (see Setting the remote to control other
components on page 99 for more on this). Set the
operation selector switch to SOURCE, then press the
other device operation button of the device you want to
operate.
Button(s) Function
SOURCE Press to switch the component
between standby and on.

Press to return to the start of the
current track or chapter.
Repeated presses skips to the
start of previous tracks or
chapters.

Press to advance to the start of
the next track or chapter.
Repeated presses skips to the
start of following tracks or
chapters.
 Pause playback or recording.

Start playback.
 Hold down for fast forward
playback.
 Hold down for fast reverse
playback.
 Stops playback.
Number Directly access tracks on a
buttons program source.
Use the number buttons to
navigate the on-screen display.
Selects channels.
