To activate the system lock
To deactivate the system lock
This appliance has a thermo-electric ignition safety device. If
the flame goes out, for example if food has boiled over or if
there is a sudden draught, and automatic re-ignition has
been unsuccessful, the supply of gas to the burner will be
cut off.
^ To use the burner again, turn the control clockwise to the
"ß" position, and then switch it back on as normal.
If a burner has been used for an unusually long period
(approx. 6 hours), it will switch off automatically.

The system lock can be activated when the cooktop is
switched off. If the system lock is activated, the cooking
zones cannot be switched on and the minute minder cannot
be used.
If the system lock is activated, the indicator lights illuminate
and LC appears in the minute minder display when a sensor
field is touched or a control is turned.
The system lock is deactivated if there is a power cut.
^ Touch and hold the sensors - and + at the same time until
LC appears in the minute minder display and a tone
sounds.
^ Touch and hold the - and + sensors at the same time until a
tone sounds.
