KM 34xx Gas Cooktops Technical Information Cause: Burner cap is skewed. Burner cap must sit evenly on the burner head. Remedy: Check for distortions in the burner cap. Replace the burner cap, if necessary. Cause: Thermocouple is dirty. Remedy: Clean the thermocouple. Cause: Thermocouple is crooked. -

Remedy: Bend the thermocouple using a tubular socket wrench so that it is perpendicular to the base. Note: After service work, operate all burners for at least 5 minutes in order to ensure proper function. -
