20. Use only plastic paddle that comes with unit or other plastic paddles/spatulas
on inner pot in order to keep ceramic non-stick finish from scratches. Inner
pot cannot be heated in a stove or oven. DO NOT block up the lid with a
dishcloth.
21. Lift and open lid carefully to avoid scalding and allow water to drip into
inner pot.
22. DO NOT operate appliance without lid in place on unit when cooking rice or
other ingredients. Steam is generated during use.
23. Appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure they DO NOT play with appliance.
24. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near
children, or incapacitated individuals.
25. Instructions shall state that appliances are not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

SPECIAL CORD SET INSTRUCTIONS

1. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
2. An extension cord may be purchased and used if care is exercised in its use.
3. If an extension cord is used, electrical rating must be the same as product. The
extended cord must be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top
or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over accidentally.
