When using electrical appliances, these basic safety precautions should always
be followed:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR OSTER
MULTIFUNCTION RICE COOKER.
1. DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
2. To protect against fire, electric shock or injuries, DO NOT immerse cord, plug
or appliance in water or other liquids.
3. Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool
completely before putting on or taking off accessories and before cleaning.
4. Always attach power cord into appliance first, and then plug it into electrical
outlet. To disconnect, press the power button
plug from electric outlet.
5. DO NOT position this appliance directly under an electrical socket.
6. DO NOT operate appliance if power cord or plug are damaged or if it
malfunctions, is dropped or has been damaged in any manner. Return it to
nearest Authorized Oster
mechanical adjustment.
7. The use of accessories or attachments not recommended by appliance
manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or personal injuries.
8. DO NOT use outdoors.
9. DO NOT let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or a heated oven, or
flammable material.
11. A short power cord has been provided in order to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord.
12. DO NOT use appliance for other than its intended use.
13. When moving product, DO NOT hold it by lid handle or the handles of the
steam tray accessory; please ensure to use the unit handles.
14. Extreme caution must be used when moving the unit containing hot liquids.
15. DO NOT use harsh abrasives, caustic cleaners or oven cleaners when
cleaning this appliance.
16. Avoid sudden temperature changes such as adding refrigerated foods into a
heated pot.
17. Always unplug appliance from electrical outlet when not in use and before
cleaning.
18. Allow appliance to cool before cleaning and storing.
19. When using appliance, allow adequate air space above and on all sides for
air circulation. DO NOT allow appliance to touch curtains, wall coverings,
clothing, dishtowels or other flammable materials during use. CAUTION is
