ALARM OPERATION
Wake to Radio, iPhone/iPod
*
When the alarm time is reached, the selected alarm source Radio or iPhone/iPod will automatically
turn on. It starts softly and gradually becomes louder. The alarm source indicator blinks.
*
It plays for 30 minutes then shuts off and resets itself for the following day.
*
During the activation of the alarm source, you may press the SNOOZE button to activate the
snooze function. The alarm stops for the snooze time (around 10 minutes) then turns on again.

The snooze operation can be repeated 3 times.
*
To cancel the snooze before it expires, press the ALARM button.
*
To stop the alarm immediately after the alarm sounds, you can also press the ALARM
button. It resets itself for the following day.
Note: "Wake to iPhone/iPod" will not sound if you place your JiMS-252i into standby mode when
watching a video, please make sure you set your iPhone/iPod to music playback mode prior to going to
sleep.
SLEEP TIMER FUNCTION (BY REMOTE CONTROL)
Sleep to timer
This feature allows you to fall asleep to the radio or iPhone/iPod music to 120 Minutes.
The unit shuts off automatically when the time expires.
1.
Press the
button to turn the unit on.
2.
Either tune to the desired radio station in radio mode or playback music from iPhone/iPod.
3.
To select the sleep timer to turn the unit off after 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes, press the
SLEEP button from the remote control repeatedly. The display shows the sleep time and the sleep
indicator
. The unit plays for the selected length of time then automatically turns off.
4.
To turn the unit off before the sleep timer counts down to zero, press and hold the
time.
Notes:
*
To check the remaining sleep time, tap the SLEEP button once from the remote control.
*
If you are falling asleep to music from an external device connected to the AUX input, the sleep
timer will shut off the power to this system but it will not turn off the external device.
