Upgrade by USB
The easiest and fastest way to update software is via the USB port. If you are going to
perform a software update, the USB method is recommended.
• UserDB save
Saves current Channel List to a connected USB storage device. You can edit this list on a
PC using the Channel List Editor. The final edited list can be loaded to the receiver using
upgrade mode "User DB".

A USB memory device must be properly
inserted to use this main menu item.
Channels recorded with encryption can
be decoded and played by inserting the
appropriate CAM and smart card.
Record Manager
Here, recorded shows can be:
• Renamed with the red function key
• Locked with the green function key (requires password)
• Deleted with the blue function key
The „Lock" and „Delete" functions are not applied until you have acknowledged the con-
firmation prompt when exiting the menu.
Press the OK button to play the selected recording.
