Servicing
Attention:
Always remove the mains plug from the sok-
ket before any servicing work
When repair work is necessary please only
use original Kärcher replacement parts. They
alone will ensure that the appliance is always
reliable and ready to operate.
At regular intevals and after finishing work
• clean the appliance
• clean the rubber seals on the lid

• Pipes and leads
5. Malfunction Help
Malfunction
Motor (suction turbine)
won't start.
Suction insufficient
Dust comes out during
suction.
Motor (suction turbine)
switches off.
All checks and interventions on electrical parts must be carried out by an expert. If malfunctions
continue contact the Kärcher Customer Service Centre.

Cause
No electric voltage
Paper filter bag is full
Nozzle, suction pipe or suction
tube is blocked.
Filter bag not properly inserted or
defective
Heat controller switches off motor
due to danger of overheating
If suction power is diminishing
• Change motor protection filter.
Important note: take care for right seat of
motor protection filter (Risk of damage of suc-
tion turbine)
Solution
Check fuse, cable, plug and socket
Change paper filter bag
Check, remove blockage
Check filter insert or change filter
Switch machine off.
Change filter, clean motor protection
filter and suction pipe.
After 20 min the unit will start up
again.
