The function keys can be defined in three ways:
§§1§§
Name and telephone number are entered directly by hand.

§§2§§
: An entry for the addressbook is selected.
P
§§3§§
: A user or user group from the telephone system is selected. In this case, the input
field for the phone number is read-only.
Function keys for users and groups have a graphic showing availability (see next section
Status
display).
You can sort the entries using arrows

Select the Add Keys button.
The Edit function key window opens, in which you can select additional function keys –
dependent on your rights.
You can assign the keys five functions:

Busy lamp field
This key type is assigned an internal phone number (of a user or user group) as a target
and a status display
§§2§§
Group log on/off
This key has two functions:
– A display showing your status in the group (if you are available via the group
number, it is red, if not it is greyed out)
– A button for changing your availability
§§3§§
Redirection
This allows you to activate or deactivate all or some of your redirections. Active redi-
rections are indicated by a red status display on the key. Conditional redirections
(when busy or for timeout) are not affected by this setting.
§§4§§
Activate modules
Existing module configurations are activated and deactivated with this key. Active
modules are indicated by a red status display on the key.
§§5§§
Speed dial
This type of key is for assigning external numbers. You can enter these manually or
select them from the addressbook.
