Setting a PIN

To prevent use of the micro au IC by third parties without your
permission, you can set it so that you need to enter a PIN code when
you turn the product on.
Instructions: On the home screen, tap
& security → Set up UIM card lock → tap UIM card lock
on → enter a PIN code → OK
Changing the PIN Code
• When you want to change the PIN code, you must first turn the UIM
Card Lock on.
Instructions: On the home screen, tap
& security → Change UIM PIN → enter your current PIN
code → OK → enter the new PIN code → OK → enter it
again to confirm → OK.
Releasing a PIN Lock
If you enter the PIN code incorrectly three times, the micro au IC-Card will be
locked. To release the PIN lock, you will need to set a new PIN code.
Instructions: On the PUK lock screen, tap PUK Lock Release → tap
the PIN lock release code entry field → enter your 8 digit
PIN → Continue → enter a new PIN → Continue → enter
it again to confirm → Continue

Data Initialization (Reset)

By resetting the phone to shop defaults, you can delete all data on the
phone.
Instructions: On the home screen, tap
Factory data reset → follow the on-screen instructions.

Using Anshin Security Pack

accurate location information in a location where the signal from GPS
satellites and base stations is weak.
• The location information may not be notified if Use GPS satellites is
disabled. To enable it, on the home screen, tap
& security →Check Use GPS satellites.
• You can search a terminal whose information of the subscribed au IC-Card
matches that of the au IC-Card which is inserted at the time when you use
the service for the first time.
