Cleaning of the flue ways
RAIS ­ manual for Rais Gabo, Pina, Vola & Vola Soapstone
Remove the upper baffle plate by pushing it towards the
smoke leader, tilting it slightly and then carefully pulling it
out.
NOTE.
Make sure that the smoke leader
is placed correctly on the pins.

Remove the baffle plate by lifting it
upwards and tilting on it's end.
The other end is lowered and the
baffle plate turned a little.
Gently take out the baffle plate.
Push up the smoke leader, lift it
from the pins and then pull it out
downwards.
Sweep the smoke box using a
hand sweeping brush.
Replace everything in reverse
order.
