2.6.5 Reversing polarity

Some filler wires are recommended to be welded with the gun in the minus pole, so the
polarity should be reversed. Check the recommended polarity from the filler wire package.
To reverse polarity:
1. Disconnect the machine from the mains.
2. Pull away the rubber covers to expose the terminal pole connections and allow access to
the Allen screws.
3. Using the Allen key attached to the wire cabinet wall, unscrew the pole connection bolts.
Note the correct order of washers.

4. Interchange the cables.
5. Install the washers in order and tighten the bolts firmly.
6. Replace the rubber covers correctly.
The rubber cover must always protect the poles.
