You may clean the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth and a
domestic cleansing agent. Do not use any solvents.
Caution:

Make sure no water runs into the unit.
Biddle recommends that the following inspection and mainte-
nance work is performed by an installer or other technical
expert every year.
•
Check that the heat exchanger and the electrical heating
element are clean. Settled dust may cause unpleasant
smells.
•
Gently remove dust with a vacuum cleaner.
•
Check whether fans are working properly.
