9 Troubleshooting

Malfunction
Pressure gauge has reading
over 1 bar
Pressure is too low
Air in the pump
Leaking filter
Pump does not run
Sand in Pool

Repairs on the pump should only be performed by trained and qualified, professional technicians.

On the pump label of your filter pump is a serial number (B/...) indicated and on the tank cover is a lot
number shown (read from above on handle), please provide this data in the case of a complaint.

Cause
Dirty filter bed
Hair and lint strainer basket is dirty;
Pump gets too little water
Poor seal on the intake side of the
pump.
Seal Defective
Not plugged in
G.F.C.I/ or main circuit breaker tripped
Pump motor defective
If the sand is newly replaced, the un-
dersized grains are still present
Sand in Central Valve (from backwash)
Separation wall in filter is improperly
installed
Filter bottom strainer is damaged
ADVICE

Solution
Backwash the filter (position 4)
Clean the hair and lint strainer;
check the suction line and the wa-
ter level
Tighten hose clamps and connect-
ing fittings.
Check the seal, replace if needed
Check the socket and power cord
Switch on the breaker (if it is imme-
diately tripped again, there is a de-
fect in pump or controls)
Replace the entire pump
Backwash several times until the
backwash water is clear (position 4)
Purge into drainpipe for 30 seconds
(position 6)
Check the separation wall for prop-
er positioning
Replace the filter bottom strainer
Loosen, but do not remove, the
transparency cover on the filter
tank to allow any trapped air to es-
cape. Tighten the cover once all of
the air has escaped
