Using Your 9570 Portable Dock
Placing a Speakerphone Call
1. Verify:
• The 9500 Portable Phone is properly
docked. (See "Docking the Phone" on
page 34.)
• The 9570 Portable Dock's power is turned
on.
• You have inserted a SIM card in either the
docked 9500 Portable Phone or the
9570 Portable Dock's auxiliary SIM card
slot.
2. Open the flip on the
docked
9500 Portable Phone,
and press it into the
retainers to keep it
open.
3. Use the keys on the docked phone to dial the
number you want to call.

you would with any other speakerphone call.
Whenever you use the 9570 Portable Dock as a
speakerphone, the green speakerphone LED lights
steadily.
During a speakerphone call, both parties can talk
and listen simultaneously for more natural-sounding
conversations.
