Introduction
Cradle for Docking the
9500 Portable Phone
The 9500 Portable Phone is intended to be used
with the 9570 Portable Dock (available separately).
When docked, the 9500 Portable Phone operates
with the 9570 Portable Dock as a single unit.
Corded Handset
Use the corded handset for placing and receiving
private calls with the 9570 Portable Dock.
Auxiliary SIM Card Slot
The auxiliary Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card
slot enables several people to share a
9570 Portable Dock by using their SIM cards to
charge calls to their own accounts.
Battery Tray
The battery tray can hold two 9500 Portable Phone
standard or high capacity batteries (available
separately). You can use the battery tray for:

charging batteries
•
using charged batteries as the
9570 Portable Dock's power source
(providing battery backup if external power is
lost)
The 9570 Portable Dock and the
9500 Portable Phone both use the same types of
batteries (except the Ultra High Capacity Battery).
Note: The Ultra High Capacity Battery is not an
approved battery for the 9570 Portable Dock.
However, the 9570 Portable Dock will charge an
Ultra High Capacity Battery that is inserted in a
docked 9500 Portable Phone.
