Because of the many unique features included in these machines, this manual was created to provide you with information on how to properly install and maintain your equipment. Proper maintenance will ensure that your new equipment will last for years.
AFETY ACILITY AND AFETY RECAUTIONS 1. Review and understand all of the warning labels affixed to this machine and on the facility safety sign. 2. Be certain that the machine operation is understood before it is used. Refer to the instructional Procedure Label affixed to the machine.

AFETY AINTENANCE AFETY RECAUTIONS 1. Refer to Maintenance Schedule label on the machine as well as this manual for when to perform maintenance. 2. Check the function of your machine DAILY by verifying the following: • Inspect cables and end fittings for any signs of wear. Replace if worn, frayed or damaged with original Paramount replacement components.

AYOUT AND PACING Per ADA guidelines, there must be a 30” wide x 48” long area of open space at the entrance to the machine to allow wheelchair access. DO NOT install any fitness equipment near a pool, hot tub or other damp locations. Corrosion caused by installation in these locations can lead to premature failure of components.
NSTALLATION SSEMBLY UBBER NSTALLATION 1. Unpack the bag (usually attached to the machine frame) that contains the rubber feet for the base of the machine. There are two different sizes, the elongated oval fits the upright tubes while the wider oval fits on the machine mainframe.

On most machines, it is not necessary to RETAINER SLEEVE disconnect the cable from the top plate/selector bar. On the XL2-0200, remove the hardware from the hole in the selector bar (directly under the TOP PLATE). Set the hardware aside.

NSTALLATION AND SSEMBLY 11. Be sure that the dimension from under the CABLE CABLE BOLT to the bottom of the CABLE NUT BOLT DOES NOT exceed 1-3/8” (35mm) as shown. CABLE With the cable tension properly adjusted, 1-3/8” MAX. [35 mm] securely tighten the CABLE NUT.
NCHORING ACHINES TO THE LOOR The machines in this product line were designed and tested to meet the ASTM (American) and EN (European) safety standards for stability (without floor anchors) when the machine is used for it’s intended purpose as designated by the manufacturer. However, Paramount strongly recommends that all equipment be anchored to the floor to prevent movement and increase stability.
Paramount recommends that the cable ends be inspected daily and that the area that passes over the pulleys be inspected weekly. Replace the cable at the first sign of wear and on an annual basis. XL2-0300 L RESS The XL-300 Leg Press is provided with an adjustable roller feature that ensures smooth operation.
