Editing the Configuration File

Use a text editor such as Notepad to set configuration values in the
folder on the CS4070.
\Parameters
NOTE If you make errors while editing the Config.ini file, the file LOG.TXT is created in the \Parameters folder.
Consult this log file to determine the errors and make corrections.

containing bar codes scanned.

exists scanned bar codes are checked
against its content. If the bar code exists
within the database, the scanner issues a
positive beep, if not a negative beep.
To engage this mode, create the
BarcodeDB.txt file on the CS4070. Note
that if this mode is engaged, no bar code
data is saved to the scanner.
