4. LCD Drive Stage
The digital converted RGB signals are scan-converted in the IC301<SCAN CONVERTER> , and then applied to
IC401<DIGITAL GAMMA & TIMING CONTROL> through IC7201<AI&LAMP CONTROL>. The signals clock for "SC_
DCLK", H-Sync for "SC_DHSYNC", V-Sync for "SC_DVSYNC" are output from pins 237, 231 and 142 of IC301 and
applied to IC7201.
The timing pulses applied to digital gamma correction and LCD panel circuit are generated in IC401, and applied to
the RGB panel drive circuits. Digital/Analog conversion is carried out at IC501, IC521, IC541, IC561, IC1501, IC1521,
IC1541, IC15461, IC2501, IC2521, IC2541 and IC2561.

Point of Repair
Check that the timing signals are correct. H-Sync signal, V-Sync signal and other clock signals. Observe signals at test
points "TPGMHIN, TPGMVIN, TPG_DCLK"
Check that the proper drive signals are applied on the LCD panels. Observe signals at test points "TP_RV101, TP_
RV102, TP_GV101, TP_GV102, TP_BV101, TP_BV102".
Check that the panel power supply (15.5V) is applied on the panels.
