Optical adjustment
Adjustment
For convergence adjustment, use Green as the reference standard. Align Red and Blue with Green by adjusting
the position and angle of the Red and Blue LCD panel. Screws H1, H2, V1 and V2 are for convergence adjustment.
When adjusting the Green reference LCD panel, both on Red and Blue LCD panel should be converged.

Display the crosshatch pattern through the menu.
(Menu: Special -> Test pattern -> Crosshatch 1)

Loosen 2 screws
on the panel holder.

Shift a red or blue line to the left and bottom direction from
the green line by using a slot screwdriver as shown in the
Fig.8-4.

Loosen all the screws (H1, H2, V1, V2) on the Adjustment
Tool to the end.

Mount the Adjustment Tool onto the LCD panel as the
guide is locked into the hole on the base.

Tighten 2 screws
(supplied with tool).

Turn screws H1, H2, V1 and V2 gently to converge the red
or blue line onto the green line.
* The red or blue line does not move reverse direction
even if the screw turns counterclockwise.

Tighten 2 screws
gently and then remove 2 screws
and take off the Adjustment Tool from the prism assy.

Check green and red or blue line convergence. If there is
misconvergence repeat steps 2 to 8.
* If red or blue line is over a green line upper or right, loosen
all screws H1, H2, V1 and V2 on the tool, and adjust again
from step 3 except removing the Adjustment Tool.
