OPERATION
Clearing The Discharge Chute
If the discharge chute becomes plugged, disengage the PTO system. See page 24. See the Brutus owner's manual for addi-
tional information.
WARNING!
AVOID INJURY OR DEATH
Before leaving the operator seat:
.
• Park on flat level ground
.
• Lower the attachment arm, put the attachment flat on the ground
.
• Press the brake and put the gear selector lever in PARK
.
• Stop the engine and remove the key
• Make sure PTO driveline and all rotating parts have come to a complete stop.

Always park on flat level ground. Fully lower the attachment arm and put the attachment flat on the ground. Press the brake
pedal and put the gear selector lever in PARK.
Place all controls in neutral. Stop the engine and exit the utility vehicle. See page 16.
Make sure the PTO driveline and all rotating components have come to a complete stop before exiting the utility vehicle.
DANGER
AVOID INJURY OR DEATH

• Stop engine before placing hand in discharge chute
.
• Rotating fan blades can crush and dismember
Remove the snow or foreign material plugging the discharge chute.
Verify shear bolts are still intact and not missing. Replace shear bolts if missing. See page 39.
Enter the utility vehicle. See page 16.
Start the engine.
Engage the PTO system. See the BRUTUS owner's manual for detailed information.
Lower the snow blower setting the skid shoes on the ground. Slowly start driving forward into the snow to make sure the dis-
charge chute is unplugged.
