d. Apply a thin layer of the supplied anti-seize
lubricant to the threads of the four #10-32
Phillips screws.
Be sure to observe the safe handling
instructions in the Material Safety Data Sheet
(MSDS) provided with the anti-seize
lubricant.
e. At each of the four baseplate mounting holes,
place a 7/16"-diameter flat washer on a
#10-32 Phillips screw and insert the screw
into the hole from above (see Figure 15).
f. Secure each mounting bolt to the mounting
surface using a 3/4 "-diameter flat washer
and a #10 lock nut from below. Using hand
tools, tighten all four screws until the four
rubber feet on the baseplate are bottomed
against the mounting surface and the foam
seal is fully compressed.
IMPORTANT!
Use only manual hand tools to tighten the
mounting screws. The torque from a power
tool might distort the antenna baseplate.
g. Reinstall the radome onto the antenna. The
radome's "TracVision" labels should face
fore and aft. Secure in place with the four
#8-32 screws you removed earlier.
