Traffic reports

TP function
If the TP function (Traffic Programme)
has been activated, you will receive
traffic reports even if you are tuned to a
station that does not broadcast traffic
reports.
Displays and signals
TP
The Traffic Programme is switched on.
No display
The Traffic Programme is not switched
on.
Switching traffic reports on/off
1. Call up selection menu
2. Select "TP" with the right-hand rotary
control.
A highlighted selection box appears
next to the "TP" display and the se-
lected station is shown next to
"TP=".
While traffic reports are being received,
TV reception and cassette or CD play
are interrupted. The speech output of
the navigation system, however,
remains active.

Traffic report stations in the
background
You can select a station with traffic re-
ports but keep it in the background, so
that it interrupts the station to which
you are listening when a traffic report is
broadcast.
1. Call up selection menu
2. Select "TP=(station name)" with the
right-hand rotary control.
A list of stations broadcasting traffic
reports is displayed
