HANDLEBAR
5 Install:
• throttle grip 1
• throttle cables 2
• throttle cable housings 3
NOTE:
• Lubricate the inside of the throttle grip with a
thin coat of lithium-soap-based grease and
install it onto the handlebar.
• Align the projection a on the throttle cable
housing with the hole b in the handlebar.
• Be sure to slide the throttle cable rubber
cover to its original position.
6. Install:
• front brake master cylinder 1
• front brake master cylinder holder
NOTE:
• Align the projection a on the brake master
cylinder with the hole b in the handlebar.
• First tighten the front bolt, then the rear bolt.
7. Adjust:
• throttle cable free play
Refer to "ADJUSTING THE THROTTLE
CABLE FREE PLAY" in chapter 3.
Throttle cable free play (at the
flange of the throttle grip)
4.0 ~ 6.0 mm (0.16 ~ 0.24 in)
