Internal Shut Off Valve Access
The internal shutoff valve may be accessed without removing the burner. See the instructions below.
NOTE: The shut off valve must be closed while pressure testing the gas line leading to the fireplace.
NOTE: Make sure the fireplace is disabled prior to accessing the shutoff valve (disconnect gas and/or
electricity to the appliance).
Remove the glass frame. Remove the front firebox
tray (it is painted, enamel, or stainless steel). Take
care to prevent scratching any surfaces.
Remove the screws holding the left access panel in
place.
Remove the access panel and place it aside (take
care to prevent damage the wiring leading to the
snap disc).
The shutoff valve is located near the gas inlet.
Reach in and turn the gas control valve or use a
tool to carefully reposition the valve knob.
