3) Removal of the charge corona unit.

1) Perform procedures 1 and 2 and remove
the drum unit.
2) Remove the drum cleaning blade tension
spring.
3) Remove the front side screw on the drum shaft.

4) Remove the drum shaft and drum spacer
(Front).
5) Remove the drum.
6) Remove the drum spacer (Rear).
Note: Be careful not to touch the surface of
the drum.
1) Remove the side seals (Front and Rear).
2) Clean the surface of drum unit frame then
replace the side seals (Front and rear).
3) Clean the copy density sensors.
Adjustment after replacing new drum
a. Enter the service mode.
b. Select and run F8-14.
c. Check copy quality and adjust if necessary.
d. Exit the service mode.
1) Perform procedures 1 and 2 and remove
the drum unit.
2) Remove the corona fixing screw and
remove the charge corona assembly.
3) Remove the grid (3a), mylar (3b) and
corona wire (3c).
