Installing the developer
(1) Remove the developer unit lid.
(2) Shake the bottle of developer
thoroughly.
(3) Pour the developer evenly into the
developer unit.
Make sure to empty the bottle.
(4) Reinstall the developer unit lid.
(5)-1. Rotate the magroller gear clockwise
several turns in order to distribute
developer evenly on the sleeve.
(5)-2.R o t a t e t h e m a g r o l l e r g e a r
counterclockwise about 1/4 turn in
order to form a magnetic brush
between the shield plate and sleeve.
(5)-3.Rotate the magroller gear
clockwise several turns in order
to stabilize the magnetic brush.
(6) Reinstall the developer unit.
(7) Reconnect the TDC connector.
(8) Reinstall the drum unit.
(9) Pull the developer unit release
lever out until it stops and rotate it
90 degrees counterclockwise.
(10)Push the developer unit release
lever back in until it stops.
Cleaning blade pressure release
(1) Install the cleaning blade pressure
spring onto the pin. Make sure you
use innermost loop in order to
obtain a proper pressure.
(2) Reconnect the solenoid connector.
(3) Reinstall the solenoid cover. (1 screw)
(4) Swing the toner bottle/hopper back
into position.
(5) Raise the paper transport.
(6) Close the front door.
(7) Install the waste toner bottle.
(8) Close the waste toner bottle door.
