16) Transfer the new file data to be updated using copy command in the binary
mode . (Example) >copy /b {FILE NAME} LPT1 FILE NAME of the SIMM
program. When the program runs the copier data lamp will flash.
The PC will return to DOS prompt in about 2 minutes. Data update will be
completed approximately one minute after DOS prompt returns.
17) Turn off the digital copier's switch.
18) Disconnect the printer parallel cable if it is not going to be used for printing.
19) Turn on the digital copier's power switch. Note :
be automatically chenged to 'No' by turning on the power switch.
20) If a network unit is installed, wait for the status print.
21) Set the digital copier to 'Off line' mode.
22) Set the digital copier to user preset mode and select 'Test print' mode.
23) Print out the test print.
24) Confirm that the Flash ROM version has been changed.
Note: If the printer hard disk (FA-HD01) is installed, change
setting
back to previous number.
25) Exit the user preset mode
26) Turn off the digital copier's switch.
27) Re-connect the printer cable and network cable to the original condition.
