PROBLEM
CHARGING
Battery does not
charge.
Battery capacity dis-
play fails to light up
even after charging.
Charging process ends
immediately.
Charging takes a long
time.
Charger becomes
unusually warm.
Unusual noise or
smell.
CHECK
1. Is the power cable
connected?
2. Is the battery fuse OK?
3. Is the ambient tempera-
ture satisfactory for the
charger?
1. Is the ambient tempera-
ture suitable for the
charger and the battery?
1. Is the battery
completely full?
1. Is the ambient
temperature, battery
temperature and charger
temperature normal?
ACTION
1. Connect power cable.
2. Replace fuse.
3. Charge in an area with
suitable temperature.
1. Try charging again after
having waited until the
temperature is suitable
for the battery and the
charger. if all the LEDs
on the battery capacity
display do not light up
after another attempt at
charging, the capacity
of the battery is
reduced due to its age.
1. Check the capacity
using the battery
capacity display.
1. Wait until the tempera-
ture is satisfactory.
