Delay Start - Miele W 5965 WPS Operating Instructions Manual

With Delay start you can choose when
you want the programme to end. The
start of the programme can be delayed
from 15 minutes up to a maximum of 24
hours. This allows you to make use of
night-time economy electricity rates, for
example.
The current time of day needs to
have been set for Delay start to work
correctly.
To select Delay start
A Select the programme you want and
then press the + button.
The display shows:

Finish time
B Press the Y button to select the
programme finish time you want.
The first press on the button will adjust
the programme end time to the next 15,
30, 45 minutes or the next full hour.
Each subsequent press on the button
will delay the programmes by 15
minutes.

C Confirm by pressing the OK button.
D Press the Start/Stop button.
The display will show when the
programme will be started in hours and
minutes.
Change
You can subsequently select a later
programme end time if you wish.
^ Press the + button.
^ Correct the end of the programme by
^ Confirm by pressing the OK button.
Cancelling a programme
^ Press the Start/Stop button.
The following will appear in the display:

^ Now you can select a different

Options
Cancel delay start
Activate safety lock
programme, or
the programme straight away.
The actual load size can only be
determined accurately by the
machine once the programme has
started. The programme end time
may, therefore, be a bit later or
earlier than first indicated.
