Removing the Coin-Cell Battery

1. Follow the instructions in "Before You Be in" on pa e
2. Remove the battery pack (see "Removin the Battery Pack" on pa e
3. Remove the compartment door (see "Removin the Compartment Door" on
pa e 14).
4. Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board connector.
5. Lift the coin-cell battery of the computer base.
Replacing the Coin-Cell Battery
1. Place the coin-cell battery in the slot on the computer base.
2. Connect the coin-cell battery cable to the system board connector.
3. Replace the compartment door (see "Replacin the Compartment Door" on
pa e 14).
4. Replace the battery pack (see "Replacin the Battery Pack" on pa e
CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure
that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may
result in damage to the computer.
