Neither on-screen menu nor other
external programs appear on the TV
screen. TV only shows those sta-
tions which are received via its own
aerial.

Cause 1:
Remedy:
Push in all connectors firmly.
The TV set does not switch automati-

cally to the AV input.
Remedy:
Set the TV to 'AV mode'.
Problem:
Picture unstable.
Synchronisation signal absent.
Cause:
Remedy 1: Push connector in firmly, or set TV to
'AV mode'.
Remedy 2: When using component video with
RGB colours an additional cable is
necessary for synchronisation (see
'Connection

video input').
Problem:
Monochrome picture only.
Incompatible video norms set on the

TV, the K6 and the source device.
Remedy:
Set TV, K6 and source device to the
same video norm.
Problem:
Nothing appears on the integral
screen.
Cause:
The screen is switched off.
Switch the screen on again (see

No picture when using source VCR
or STB.
Cause:
The wrong video norm is selected.
Remedy:
In the 'Video Norm Menu' choose the
appropriate setting – YC or CVBS.
Problem:
Wrong colours when using source
with component video output.
The setting of the colour norm for com-

Remedy:
In the 'Video Norm Menu' select the
appropriate setting – YUV or RGB.
