PROTECTIVE APPAREL
l. Most motorcycle accident fatalities are
due to head injuries: ALWAYS wear a
helmet. You should also wear a face
shield or goggles; boots, gloves, and
protective clothing. A passenger needs
the same protection.
2. The exhaust system becomes very hot
during operation, and it remains hot
afte. operation. Never touch any pa.t of
the hot exhaust system. Wear clothing
that tully cove.s your legs.
3. Do not.wear loose clothing which could
catch on the control levers, footpegs,

Loading
The combined weight of the dder, passen-
get, calgo and additional accessodes must
not exceed 375 lbs ( 170 kg), the vehicle ca-
pacity load. Cargo weight alon€ should not
exceed 60 lbs.
