SLEEP TIMER

Automatically switches the power to standby after the specified
time interval.
This function operates when playing back a disc on the CD player
or CDR deck.

Press the MENU button until "SLEEP" appears
on the information display.
• "SLEEP" will not be displayed while stop mode, or when
recording.

Press the SET button.
• The current specified time interval flashes in the information
display.

Turn the MULTI JOG control to select the time
interval.
• If you are using the remote control, press 2 or 3.
• You can select 10, 20, 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes as the time
interval.

Press the SET button.
• The unit automatically switches the power to standby after the
specified time interval.
Note
• This function operates when "SLEEP" is displayed in the infor-
mation display. If you use operations that cause "SLEEP" to
disappear from the information display, the SLEEP Timer func-
tion is cancelled.
