After the software is installed:
Windows users:
•
A MobiLink shortcut is placed on the desktop.
•
A MobiLink status icon appears in the Windows
•
notification area (system tray).
Mac users: (after the computer is restarted, and the MobiLink application is open)
•
A MobiLink icon is placed in the Dock.
•
A MobiLink status icon appears on the right side
•
of the menu bar.
Tip!
Mac users: The MobiLink Dock icon is a convenient way to open the software if you keep it in the
Dock. After MobiLink is open, click and hold the MobiLink icon until the Dock icon menu opens, and
then select Keep in Dock (Tiger and Leopard) or Options > Keep in Dock (Snow Leopard).
Both Windows and Mac users: The MobiLink Connection Manager opens

NOTE
Some accounts might require activation from your network operator. If the Connection Manager
says Device is not activated, click the Activation button and follow the onscreen instructions.
