  • Page 2 Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. Introduction This document provides a description of how to upgrade the standard DSP56362EVM Evaluation Module to the DSPD56362 and related components. After the upgrade is complete the EVM system will be capable of autodectect/autoswitching of PCM, Dolby Digital and MPEG bitstreams in addition to various post decoder functions.
