Intended use

The Octophon F620 phone was developed as a device for speech transmission and should
be placed on the desk or mounted on the wall. Any other use is regarded as unauthorized.

Telephone type

The identification details (exact product designation and serial number) of your telephone
can be found on the nameplate on the underside of the base unit.
Specific details concerning your communications platform can be obtained from your ser-
vice technician.

Speakerphone quality and display legibility

• To ensure good speakerphone quality, the area in front of the microphone (front right)
should be kept clear. The optimum speakerphone distance is 50 cm.
• Proceed as follows to optimize display legibility:
– Turn the phone to tilt the display. This ensures you have a frontal view of the display
while eliminating light reflexes.
– Adjust the contrast as required
