6.3.1

Configuring the onboard SATA controller

– If RAID mode is enabled you can configure the onboard SATA
controller during boot-up. Native mode is also released. For further
information refer to "D3196-B100 BIOS Setup Utility for PRIMERGY
CX250 S2 Reference Manual".
– If RAID mode is enabled, the RAID must be configured during boot-
up to use hard disk drives.

User's Guide" (on the Fujitsu manuals server under Industry Standard
Servers - Expansion Cards - Storage Adapters - LSI RAID / SCSI
Controllers).

Configuring the SAS/SATA RAID controller

The server node has a SAS/SATA RAID controller with "MegaRAID
functionality". You can configure the SAS/SATA RAID controller either before or
during installation with the ServerView Installation Manager. Using the
ServerView Installation Manager is recommended.
