Water Level Control (cont.)
Water Level Control Operation
When the machine is empty, the foam
switch is closed and the motor circuit is
disabled. When the main wash cycle is
activated, the fill valve begins operating.
The machine fills to the foam water level,
the foam switch opens, and tumble begins.
Water temperature is read by the thermistor
and fill valve percentage of operation (water
tempering) is calculated for the main wash.
When calculated, and/or when the load
absorbs water, the tumbling will pause. Fill
will continue until the main water level is
reached (Adaptive fill), the main switch
closes, and main wash tumbling begins.
Water Levels
The foam water level, measured behind the
baffle, is approximately 1 3/4 -inches deep,
and approximately 1-inch deep measured at
the bottom center of the wash basket.
