Outline of Functions

• This remote engine
starter system is
designed to start the
engine while you are
away from the vehicle
without using the

ignition key .
Use the ignition key
remote to drive the
vehicle.
• This system enables
you to lock and unlock
the doors using your
transmitter.
• On vehicles equipped
with automatic climate
control, the remote engine starter can operate the air
conditioner (defroster), heating wire (rear defogger/
heated door mirror), heated steering

seat automatically provided when the ambient
temperature is low. When the ambient temperature is
warm, it can automatically turn the air conditioner on
in the AUTO mode.
