Troubleshooting
Symptom
The ignition key is inserted in the ignition
switch.
The door is open.
The transmitter battery is discharged.
Keyless entry
does not work
The transmitter is operated too far from the
vehicle.
The trunk main switch is turned off.

Probable cause Remedy
Remove the ignition key from the ignition
switch. (page 23)
Close the door. (page 23)
Replace the battery.
(Use lithium battery CR2032.) (page 35)
Operate the transmitter within the remote
control range.
(The keyless entry remote control range is set
to a shorter distance than the engine start/stop
remote control range.)
Turn on the trunk main switch. (page 27)
